Brighter Days Blog #12

Hello all! We wish everyone a good day! Our team continued to work on our online schooling today and we started working on poetry in language arts class. One of the poems featured in our packet was by Dylan Thomas. It was entitled, "Do not go gentle into that good night." This poem has many interpretations, but what we felt this poem was about, was uncertainty. Uncertainty about life, uncertainty about the future. This poem is also about defiance, about the resilience of the human spirit, and its will to live on. So why are we telling you about this? It's because we know that you will not go gently into this good night, these many nights. We know you have that fire inside you, the will to fight, the will to survive. It's because we know you will defy all odds, to go certainly into an uncertain future. It's because we know all these things that we will continue to right these blogs and challenge all of you to be kind. We know you are better than this. We are better than this. Thank you, and good night.
